Rural Development Business Unit

Századvég Konjunktúrakutató Zrt. attaches special importance to presenting new fields besides the existing business units. That is why the Rural Development Unit was set up.

The primary goal of this workshop is to analyse agricultural and rural development issues in the strict sense and, beyond that, the social and economic embeddedness and synergies of the field. Consequently, the agricultural and rural development field is in close collaboration with the various business units of the Századvég Group as well as the various actors of public administration and economic operators.

The policy products of this research workshop are mostly measurement-based analyses, impact assessments and mainstream consultation. Its experience so far shows that studies on rural development and agricultural issues are in demand among professionals; Századvég will, therefore, regard the investigation of rural development issues as a responsibility in the future as well.
